Splash Mountain is a log ride
based on the characters, stories, and songs from the 1946 Disney film, Song of
the South. The nine minute ride starts off with passengers loading in hollowed
out logs and drift on a waterborne jorney. The ride presents scenes taken from
the animated segments Song of the South, telling the story of Br'er Rabbit, a mischievous rabbit who leaves his home in search
of adventure ending with a 53 foot drop at the end.
